01

Manual manipulation

Chiropractic adjustments

Hands-on, specific adjustments to restore motion to stiff, guarded joints of the spine and extremities.

A stiff joint usually feels one-sided and guarded. The doctor takes your history, feels along the spine for the segments that are not moving, delivers a quick, specific adjustment and then re-checks.

Instrument adjusting

Activator treatment

A hand-held instrument delivers a light, quick impulse, a gentle option for infants, seniors and anyone who dislikes the twist.

It suits infants, seniors and anyone who would rather skip the twist, and it often pairs with hands-on work in the same visit.

Imaging

X-rays

Films taken when the exam calls for them, so the doctor can see alignment, disc spaces and old injuries before adjusting.

Films show alignment, disc space, prior injury and degeneration. Findings shape the plan the doctor lays out at your report of findings, before any course of care begins.

Five more tools, and the first visit that costs nothing.

  • Soft tissue

    Therapeutic ultrasound

Deep, gentle heating of sore muscle and tendon with an ultrasound applicator and gel, often paired with an adjustment.

  • Cold therapy

    Cryotherapy

Targeted cold for fresh strains and swelling, applied in the office and explained for home use between visits.

  • Motion table

    Segmental traction

Lying on a motorized roller table that gently moves each segment of the spine, a warm-up that loosens stiff backs.

  • Muscle knots

    Trigger point therapy

Sustained, specific pressure on the tight knots that refer pain into the head, shoulder or hip.

  • After a wreck

Auto accident and personal injury care

Exam, x-rays and a documented care plan for whiplash and other injuries after a car accident or personal injury.

  • Free consultations
